Delete your Ticket-Buddy account
Learn how to delete your customer account in the Ticket-Buddy app and how the associated data is handled.
Request deletion in the app
You can start the complete deletion process in the Ticket-Buddy app:
- 1Open the Ticket-Buddy app and sign in to the affected ticket shop.
- 2Open your profile and select “Delete account”.
- 3Confirm the deletion information and enter your current password.
- 4Press and hold the confirmation button to schedule permanent account deletion.
Deletion is completed permanently after a 14-day waiting period. Signing in with your email address and password during this period cancels the scheduled deletion.
Request deletion without app access
If you can no longer access the app or your account, use our contact form to request deletion. Include the account email address and the URL or name of the ticket shop you used. Use “Ticket-Buddy account deletion” as the subject.
To prevent unauthorized deletion, we verify that the request comes from the account owner. We will never ask for your password.
Data deleted and retained
After the 14-day waiting period, we delete:
- The customer profile, contact details, and profile information that is no longer required.
- Favourites, interests, communication preferences, and personalization settings.
- Authentication data, active sessions, and device or notification associations that are no longer required.
The following data may be retained for longer:
- Order, ticket, payment, and invoice data where the responsible ticket shop must retain it for tax, commercial, or contractual obligations. The period depends on applicable law and may be up to ten years for tax or commercial records.
- Limited records relating to fraud prevention, refunds, unresolved disputes, or legal claims only for as long as the relevant purpose or legal obligation applies.
The selected ticket shop or organizer is responsible for event and order data. Ticket Buddy deletes or anonymizes other account data after the waiting period; data subject to legal retention is deleted after the applicable period ends.
